本日乗った中国国内線の機内食。
可愛らしいパンダの絵が書いたボックスにお弁当が入っています。見た目にものすごく変わったなぁと思います。昔中国に来た当初はこんな可愛くなかったし、そして味もいまいち。
昔、日本人のボスから、中国国内線の弁当を平らげられないようでは中国で真のビジネスマンにはなれないと言われた。牛肉飯に搾菜を乗せてバクバク食べるそのボスの様子が印象的だった。頑張って食べた時期もあったが、長く続かなかった。高速鉄道の弁当も同じ。良くはなったけど、まだまだなんだよね。街中のレストランはこんな美味しくなったのに、規制に守られているためか、フライトと新幹線の食事はまだまだ要改善。
This is the lunch box they provided me inside airplane. The box seems so cute and you might expect to have a good meal inside, but not true. I can say that it improved a lot, but for me still not good enough. it used to be awful. At that time, my Japanese boss advised me you could really become businessman in China by finishing this box, so I tried several times but without success. It was really impressive he put some pickle on the beef rice and ate it aggressively. This is same as bullet train. The meal inside bullet train is improving but not enough. Restaurants in the street offer really nice food, but I don't know why (maybe some restriction exist?) they end up providing the similar one for a long time.
